Here’s a wonderful project I discovered over at the Lowe’s creative ideas website! Take a look at this very cool cardboard and burnt match star. Two everyday, ordinary items are turned into a beautiful work of art. Love it!
This matchstick star is insanely gorgeous, but who knew it was this simple to make? Here’s what you need to make your own:
Materials:
- Long kitchen matches
- All-purpose glue
- Matte spray sealant
- Metal yardstick
- Rag
- X-Acto knife
- Scissors
- Cardboard (discarded cereal box)
- Transparent adhesive tape
- String
