Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap For Under $1 A Gallon

If you just go to the grocery store and buy laundry soap today compared to what it used to be then you know how expensive it can be. Here is a great recipe that you can make using just 3 items that you can get very easily, on a tight budget and with a little bit of work and I mean a little bit of work,  you can save a lot of money in no time and still have your cloths smelling nice and clean.

Ingredients

These are the three ingredients that will give you gallons upon gallons of laundry soap. The recipe calls for 1/2 Cup each of Washing Soda and 20 Mule Team Borax & only 1/3 of a bar of Fels Naptha soap grated.

Here is a kit with all three ingredients including three bars of the Fels Naptha.<

Or here are the ingredients individually:

Fels Naptha
Super Washing Soda
20 Mule Team Borax

Directions

1- Start by melting the soap on a medium heat until completely melted

2-Add the borax and super Washing Soda until fully dissolved.( 1-2 minuets)

3- pour into a suitable container and let settle for a day.

This is definitely worth doing if you are looking to save money on your laundry and best of all you know exactly what’s in your own soap! Use about as much as you would with a store bought soap, maybe 1 cupful
